Sift Atlas does not require registration. Saved topics and recently viewed topics use local browser storage. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.

Submissions and security

Public video submissions are currently disabled. A daily salted hash of your IP address provides a separate abuse limit; raw IP addresses are not stored in the application database for this purpose. Cloudflare may process request information to operate and protect the service.

Third-party services

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile protects forms. Thumbnails load from YouTube image servers. Watch links take you to YouTube, where Google’s policies apply; no embedded player loads here. Captions are sent to Google Gemini for analysis without your browsing history. We do not retain raw captions. Contact messages, when enabled, are passed to the configured mail relay to answer your request.

Sift Atlas uses YouTube API services. See Google’s Privacy Policy and YouTube’s Terms of Service. Video playback takes place on YouTube, separately from Sift Atlas. We retain source/channel metadata, including channel descriptions, for discovery and refresh it periodically; public Creator descriptions are Sift Atlas editorial text.

Advertising and measurement

Advertising and analytics are disabled until configured with the required consent integration. We do not sell visitor data. Policies will be updated before any advertising features are introduced.

Use the contact page for privacy questions. Any legacy submission receipts expire after seven days; daily abuse counters expire after two days. The public contact address is being configured.
